Week 1-2: Discovering Your Creative Identity.

  • Exercises to define your artistic values and vision.

Week 3-4: Strategies for Overcoming Creative Blocks.

  • Techniques for dealing with procrastination, fear of failure, and imposter syndrome. 

  • Mindfulness and resilience-building practices.

  • Mindfulness and creative flow:

    • Incorporate more in-depth mindfulness practices specifically designed to enhance creative flow, such as guided visualization exercises tailored to artists.

  • Integration of case studies and success stories:

    • Incorporate real-life examples of artists and creatives who have overcome similar blocks or challenges. This can inspire and provide concrete strategies that participants can adapt.

Week 5-6: Creativity in Practice.

  • Establishing a productive routine and environment conducive to creativity. 

  • Advanced creative problem-solving techniques:

    • Introduce advanced creative thinking techniques such as SCAMPER, Six Thinking Hats, or how to use lateral thinking to overcome creative blocks and generate innovative ideas.

  • Project-based learning to apply creative problem-solving skills.

Week 7-8: Marketing Your Creativity. 

  • Personal branding for artists and creatives. 

  • Strategies for effectively showcasing and monetizing your work.

  • Digital presence and online branding:

    • With the increasing importance of the digital space, dedicate a session to online branding and utilizing social media effectively to showcase work and engage with audiences.

  • Artistic entrepreneurship and financial literacy:

    • Introduce basics of financial planning, budgeting for projects, and understanding revenue streams for artists, which could be crucial for their sustainability.

Week 9-10: Building a Supportive Network 

  • Networking strategies within and outside the creative industries. 

  • Collaborative project work to foster community and feedback.

  • Feedback and critique sessions:

    • Organize structured feedback sessions where participants can present their work and receive constructive critiques from peers and professionals, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.

  • Alumni network and continuous support:

    • Establish an alumni network for program participants to facilitate ongoing support, collaboration, and networking opportunities beyond the program duration.
